RARE Antique Southeast Longquan celadon tripod censer charger Yuan early Ming. MING DYNASTY, c 15TH CENTURY. The bowl dish is heavily potted with flaring, slightly rounded lotus curved sides. The interior is carved in the centre with both a dragon and a floral design below a band of trellis diaper in the well and undulating wave scroll on the everted rim. The dish bowl is covered overall with a glaze of sea-green color, except for a wide unglazed ring on the base, which has burnt orange in the firing. Signed by the maker. A RARE Chinese Song/ Yuan Dynasty Jizhou Bottle Vase 16 cm Tall

Please read the whole description! On offer is a Chinese Song/Yuan Dynasty Jizhou Bottle Vase. It is approximately 16 cm tall and the diameter at the widest point is 11 cm. So I had it appraised online and I have attached the report. This is most likely a very rare Song dynasty stoneware with the brown-black tenmoku glaze. For sure not as good, but it gives you an idea… As mentioned in the notes it really has to be examined in person (per industry standards really) to make an accurate estimate. Sourced from the very reputable Japanese dealer that has been providing me with a lot of pieces that I offer. A really nice, rare and in excellent condition (for its age) Jizhou bottle for a bargain price really.. Condition Report: This vase is in excellent condition, especially given its age. However, there are some surface marks and light dents as per photos. But these are only minor and not anything to worry about. As a matter of fact, this vase in better condition than 99% of the similarly dated vases that have survived to this day… A piece of this age cannot be in any (much) better condition really. A Large RARE 12 Chinese Yuan/Ming Underglazed Red Suzaku Blossom Scrolls Temple Jar with Wavy Lid. Suzaku = Ancient Phoenix which represent the South. Underglazed red is very scarely seen and produced in old days because the range of successful formation of red iron underglazed only confined to 20C. (where overheated will turned into white colour and underheated remain its black grey colour). Presence of abundant’SOMALI’ Red (Photo 7, 8 and 9) seen everywhere among the underglazed red indicating its period of production around late Yuan or early Ming. The temple jar mainly decorated by 100% Hand-painted Underglazed Red Large blossoms with scrolls and a band of Underglazed motifs around the bottom. It has a high and coarse unglazed foot rim and base (Photo 7 and 12), and a large plum finial wavy lid with 2 Suzaku and foliage scroll (Photo 6 and 7). Marks of hand-driven embryo (Photo 7) and ancient kiln sparkling seen (Photo 4 and 12). Dimension: Height x Diameter =. 14.7″ x 8.6″ (37.5 cm x 22 cm).
